The district includes 1 Municipal Corporation, 10 Municipal Councils, 5 Nagar Panchayats, 1 Cantonment Board, 113 Primary Health Centers (of which 100 are operational), 22 Rural Hospitals, 3 Sub-District Hospitals, 1 General Hospital, 5 Primary Health Units, 2 Ayurvedic Dispensaries, and 598 Health Sub-Centers (of which 555 are operational), along with several 24/7 health facilities.
