Objectives and Functions

1. To make various types of scholarships available at the central and state levels available to every student at the grassroots level.
2. To take appropriate action at the district level so that no student is deprived of scholarships.
3. To implement scholarships properly so that students do not face any financial difficulty in pursuing their further education.

The actual implementation of the schemes is done by the Head of Department in the regional office and the staff officers under their command.
